Student employment within the university's facilities operates on an hourly basis. During the first and second semesters, the department welcomes students interested in working under this system. The Student Employment Department, which is part of the Social Welfare Administration in the Deanship of Student Affairs, is crucial for university students as it provides them with unique employment opportunities within the university's facilities.
Objectives:

Eligibility Criteria for Students:
- Must be enrolled at the university and have completed at least one semester (i.e., not a new student).
- Must not have received more than one general warning.
- Graduate students and Language Center students are not eligible to work on an hourly basis.
Regulations and Conditions:
- Students who are children of university employees or faculty members cannot work in the same departments or work centers where their parents are employed.
- Students are only allowed to work in their own college and in accordance with their class schedules.
- The department is not responsible for financial compensation if students start working before completing the “case file” with the department and receiving the hourly tracking form.
- The department is not liable for delays or failures to adhere to the specified deadlines for submitting the hourly tracking form.
Instructions for All Colleges and Work Centers:
- All colleges and work centers must cooperate and adhere to the submission deadlines for the hourly tracking form at the end of each month. The Student Employment Department will not accept forms submitted after the deadline but will accept forms submitted before the due date.
- Students who are children of university employees or faculty members are not allowed to work in the same departments or work centers as their parents.
- Students can only work in their own college, considering their academic schedules.
- Students should not be employed in academic or administrative departments until they have opened a “case file” and received the hourly tracking form from the Student Employment Department.
